Dust & salsa. Probably a lot more than that. Most cowboys in Nashville have a guitar instead of a horse.
While we were in El Paso, Jeff and I were lucky to have grandparents willing to watch Lincoln and get away for a bit. We went up to see La Mesilla in New Mexico. It was like Jackson Hole but smaller and less touristy. And a lot more Spanish looking. It was really fun. We ate at this restaurant which used to be this huge royal house and is now haunted. Billy the Kid used to rummage through the town and was also tried there.
Below is the view from Jeff and Robin’s house. It was really beautiful. And really windy. I was pleasantly surprised at how neat El Paso was.

Fun, fun!! Good ol’ El Paso…did I ever tell you that Will and I met at NMSU in Las Cruces?? We’ve been to La Mesilla on several occasions! Fun place and we sure do miss the Mexican food. I’m glad you guys had a good Christmas! I miss seeing you!
