This is a video that Grammy and Popa recorded from Christmas and had on their blog. I had to steal it. Sorry. I had to.
Dust & salsa. Probably a lot more than that. Most cowboys in Nashville have a guitar instead of a horse.
While we were in El Paso, Jeff and I were lucky to have grandparents willing to watch Lincoln and get away for a bit. We went up to see La Mesilla in New Mexico. It was like Jackson Hole but smaller and less touristy. And a lot more Spanish looking. It was really fun. We ate at this restaurant which used to be this huge royal house and is now haunted. Billy the Kid used to rummage through the town and was also tried there.
Below is the view from Jeff and Robin’s house. It was really beautiful. And really windy. I was pleasantly surprised at how neat El Paso was.
Christmas Eve both Ethan and Lincoln got a special treat. A Sombrero hat. What’s Christmas in El Paso without a Sombrero hat.
All of us in our matching P.J.s Christmas Eve. Don’t worry Alex, you’ll match next year.
Santa came to visit the boys. Jeff taught Lincoln the wrong words to “Jingle Bells” so Lincoln says “ho ho all the way” when ever he sees Santa.
Mike, Jen and Ethan.
The boys.
The girls. Can you tell by the hair who the in-law is?
Mike’s guilty face.
Lincoln had quite the appetite at Grammy and Popa’s. Grandparents always have the best food. OK we all had quite the appetite. Here he is with a powdered doughnut.
After the powdered doughnut.
And I leave with you with the moneyshot. Feel free to frame.
